International Women’s Day: Balance for Better

The initial ask for this project was to simply cut together a handful of sound bites from any employees willing to volunteer their thoughts about IWD’s 2019 theme of “Balance for Better.”

But because I’m a strong supporter of DEI initiatives, I promised to deliver something much more in-depth. I spent a couple weeks exploring the theme, selecting employees to interview, and developing interesting activities for the shoot. The production and edit ended up being grander in scale than even I had imagined, but I was so happy to be able to meet the deadline and make the participants who were willing to trust me proud.
