Uptown Funk | Marryoke

Armed with amateur sketches for a storyboard, a used DSLR that any of today’s phones can outshoot, and a tiny bluetooth speaker to “blast” Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk in various locations in Italy, I made my first music video.

I went into it thinking experience as a videographer would make this a breeze, but I quickly learned that organizing people and communicating a vision is an entirely separate skill that takes time to master. I’m really glad I got to practice that on a very fun project and give it to my sister as a really cool wedding gift back in 2015.
